Cute little room, loved all the sustainable wood features. Owner very passionate and motivated, seemed like a great guy. Only two rooms, nice balcony overlooking the jungle. Great Sri Lankan breakfast served on the balcony. Only spent one night but would have stayed more if they weren’t booked. Highly recommended.

Amazing view over the mountains. Sweetest and most supportive, kind and respectful man who looks after the room and serves delicious private breakfast at the time of your choice. We planned on staying for two nights and in the end we stayed for four nights :-)

We were welcomed with coffee and tea and had a delicious dinner. Wasantha hiked with us to the Ella rock so we wouldn't get lost. He also organized a tuktuk every time we needed one or drove us himself. His wife gave us a cooking class in their wonderful, rustic kitchen. We were allowed to help prepare our food, which was delicious. If we ever come back to Ella, this will be our address.

It’s beautiful and rustic. This is the sort of accommodation we love. Nothing fancy but surrounded by tea plantations and palm trees and dense vegetation. Our room is comfortable and has an on suit bathroom. Lahiru is fanatical about cleanliness and sweeps and wipes everyday. He is a great cook and has prepared breakfast and dinner for us on a number of occasions. We loved it so much here we are extending our stay.
