At the inn, rooms have a desk, bed linen and a terrace with a garden view. Featuring a private bathroom with a bidet and free toiletries, rooms at Homeaway Homestay Hatton also boast a mountain view. The rooms have a safety deposit box.

I loved this place! It has been one of my favorites during my trip in Sri Lanka! Nilu and Rucki are amazing hosts and they made sure I had a great stay in Hatton. The room is spacious, clean, comfortable, quiet and you also have your own space in the garden to relax. The whole family is absolutely lovely, the food was very good (big portions) and they also helped me do my laundry. Nilu has been most helpful during my whole stay and I had a great time chatting with her! Rucki also drove me around the countryside areas around Hatton, which was amazing. They also picked me up and sent me back to the railway station at the beginning and at the end of my stay. I would absolutely stay here again! Hatton is a great base to visit the area near Adam’s Peak. It is a small, non-touristy local town with great scenery, tea fields, waterfalls, rice paddies, mountain views, Tamil villages and temples. It gives you a much more authentic experience than staying in Ella, so I would absolutely recommend a stop in Hatton on the way to Kandy or Ella!

Title: An Excellent Stay at Rock View: A Hidden Gem by the River Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5) I recently had the pleasure of staying at Rock View and I must say, it was a delightful experience from start to finish. This charming establishment, located right next to a picturesque river, offered a clean and comfortable room, accompanied by exceptional services that truly impressed me. Upon arrival, I was immediately struck by the natural beauty surrounding Rock View. The serene river flowing by added a serene touch to the overall atmosphere. The property itself was well-maintained and exuded a warm and inviting charm. I found my room to be impeccably clean and well-appointed. What truly set Rock View apart, however, was the exceptional level of service I received throughout my stay. The owner was friendly, attentive, and went above and beyond to ensure that my needs were met. From recommendations for local attractions to arranging transportation, they exhibited a genuine concern for their guests' satisfaction. Overall, my stay at Rock View exceeded my expectations in every aspect. If you are searching for a peaceful retreat offering a wonderful blend of nature and comfort, Rock View is the choice.

Saman and Semila were great hosts! The location is very convenient- you could walk to the tea plantations within minutes and Saman arranged a TukTuk for us to do part of the Pekoe trail. We got tea and cookies when we arrived and the breakfast (with a beautiful view and sunrise from the terrace) and dinner were just amazing!

I really liked this place. Nandhu was lovely, just great. Excellent spoken English. The view is AMAZING! The location of the house is in top of a hill with 360 deg view. You can even see Adam’s Peak. The Chicken Curry we had for dinner was really really good. Look, it’s a quiet house on top of a hill. No frills, just good service, clean sheets, good shower, good food. Simple.

Most important is that this is a half pension/board place, including breakfast and dinner. Both are really tasty and way too much. So the price is more than excellent. The bed and room are big. The shower and water are warm but a bit low pressure. We did a waterfall tour with Trinish. 7 hours through the jungle and tea hills. The daughter, wife and husband are a golden trio. Really welcoming.
