Casa Vermelha has an outdoor swimming pool, garden, a shared lounge and terrace in Vila Nova de Foz Coa. Located around 16 km from Longroiva Hot Springs, the inn is also 41 km away from São João da Pesqueira Wine Museum. Some rooms at the property have a balcony with pool view.

What a delightful old fashioned guest house. In the centre of town, the house has a large garden with many orange trees, divine smell of orange blossom around the pool. Comfortable room and bed, large bathroom with powerful shower. Excellent breakfast. The lady who runs the guest house brought us freshly squeezed orange juice and almond cakes as we lounged around the pool. Very convenient for the Foz Coa archaeological sire and museum (definitely worth visiting).

First, it’s a beautiful historic property that has been modernized. The bathrooms and kitchen were very nice and well equipped. The bed was comfortable with nice linens. The best part was being welcomed by Delfina and her husband when we arrived. They were gracious hosts who explained everything carefully and even gave us a glass of port. They obviously care about the property and are proud of it. They also made dinner reservations on our behalf at a very nice restaurant. It was a great choice for a stay.

Everything we needed was there and everything was practical and functional. The layout of the apartment is very nice and we could not have asked for more. The location is excellent. We walked for dinner in the centre every night and it is just a short stroll away.

It was extremely quiet and wonderful to hear birds sing. This was a farm stay & the restored building was lovely. The hugh antique olive press was fabulous to see. Breakfast was good. Location somewhat remote with small town nearby. All restaurants were closed. Owner very accommodating in allowing us to use facility kitchen so we could make our small dinner.

Villa Auri was one of the highlights in our trip to Portugal. We really enjoyed the room design and the amazing view from it. The staff were also wonderful, welcoming and helpful with anything we asked. The dinner we had on both nights was very good too. It was a great retreat with a special and relaxed atmosphere and we would love to come back in the future

We read the reviews about the rocky drive but decided to still stay. We were not disappointed The Villa Auri Wine Resort had the most picturesque views. The staff were incredible. So helpful and kind. The food we had for dinner was one of the best I have had in Portugal. The breakfast was also delicious. If you want to step away and relax in a very peaceful place, this is the one.
