Southwestern décor and Mexican-inspired architecture are among the unique offerings of the guest rooms at The Maverick Inn. Each room has a flat-screen TV with cable, a microwave, and a refrigerator. Complimentary bottled water and coffee service are also included.

Great homey feeling! Clean, well equiped, spacious, calm. Everything was taken a good care of. I would love to come back and stay. Free parking next to your door. Big Bend national park is just 1.5 hours away. Also there is a Dollar General store very close which has food and all the other necessities. The Alpine city has many decent shopping places, souvenirs, food (we recommend trying Bock Burger takeaway!) you can reach those by walking or driving easily. People are very nice and friendly around. Perfect city to get away from big city life.

The location, the room, the amenities, and the time there were excellent. The morning coffee was very good. It was a short walk to the Sweetwater for dinner.

Like that they took a part of history, a Motor Inn, and renovated it and upgraded it. Great clean pool. Love that you can park right outside room.

We only stayed for one night, so can't really review much. It's a nice little hotel with rustic touches. Breakfast included hot foods (i.e. scrambled eggs, sausage, etc) and other cold options. I thought the coffee was particularly good. We had dinner at their restaurant, Spicewood, just next to the hotel (walking distance). Food was great. We were given around a 30 minute wait time, but end up waiting for well over an hour even though the restaurant had empty tables. They said they were short on staff.

It is the re-creation of a charming small town hotel of 100 years ago, but modernized. I had an excellent dinner at The Century, a restaurant housed in the building.

Did not have breakfast but the Bar and restaurant were very good. We had dinner there and food and service was very good. The room was fine, although the room fridge was either not working or not plugged in.
