The Lindsay at the front desk was wonderful. Housekeeping staff were meticulous. The property is older - but super clean and one block off the beach. The pool was a great plus for when we wanted to not be at the beach but our son still wanted to swim! Lots of activities all around - mini-golf, go karts, water park, shopping, ice cream, popcorn! And great seafood restaurants.

The room did have a small decent balcony to sit on in the evenings and watch the sunset over the canal but (out if the hotels control) the canal was overrun with a green algae mess. The pool was nice and clean and the front staff were extremely friendly when checking in and out and gave us a lot of information that was appreciated about places in the area.SixYoung couple

You are a three minute walk to the beach or a two minute drive to the Fenwick DE state park. Mancini's restaurant, Just Hooked, for dinner is very close and for breakfast the Warren Station. It was extremely easy to get to the property coming on to the island.

There is a shower outside, so you may rinse yourself and your gear when you return from the beach. They also offer service to rent beach great, but for that, you need to call a head. No big issue, but just reserve the time. There are breakfast options near, so although the hotel does not offer one, you can get to breakfast quickly. Even by walking. From the time I walked in the door, I was treated wonderfully. My husband and I had cocktails at the bar before dinner. Travis was a fantastic bartender and made the best margarita I’ve ever had. They do have a small beach across the street it was fun but the sea lice got us. They did have some bonfires at that beach at night it was great. We seen 2 foxes and lots of little crabs on that beach at night. But that motel was amazing it had a small kitchen made the girls some breakfast lunch and dinner in it.
