Really enjoyed our 4 night stay at Wayside Lodge, Pierre was the perfect host, nothing was too much trouble - from finding the perfect room for my 85 year old mother, to organising hiking and ziplining, to cooking delicious meals for us every evening. The beds are very comfortable and showers nice and hot, gardens are beautiful and the lovely big pool is a bonus. We found a lot to do in the area and could have stayed longer. I can highly recommend spending a few days at Wayside Lodge and enjoying the surrounding area.

The room was a little bit outdated but overall this place has its own charm so it really did not bother us at all. The service provided by Sue and Belinda was really exceptional and the dinner was really wonderful, we felt spoiled!

Rustic but clean and well thought out decor accommodation set right next to a lovely little stream that the kids can play in. Nice short hike to a waterfall which makes it easy with small kids. Natural pool was lovely. Owners were very thoughtful and friendly. We will be back again. Oh yes don't forget the friendly dogs and cats who our kids loved.

Beautiful surroundings with mesmerising view from balcony. Our room was situated in the peacful end of the house with comfy bed, bathroom with bathtub dirrect access to balcony/terrace overlooking the mountains. Garden is full of fruit trees and very fragrant and colourful flowers. Owners are wonderful and very welcoming people with two absolutely beautiful rhodesian ridgeback dogs who are gentle and friendly.

A warm welcome from Sue and Belinda on arrival with all the comforts in your room. Wifi, mini bar, TV, aircon, electric blankets etc. After a short rest and shower, we went for dinner, great meal and hospitality! Very big and nice house, well decorated, very comfortable, lovely terrace and pool, the views... The room is very big and the bathroom too. The dinner was delicious. And they did for me a very big bag with meal for breakfast and lunch because I had to leave very early. The stuff is very friendly and the owner is very lovely host. And all of this in a very good price. Thank you very much.
