Newcastle Sunnyside Tavern is a 5-minute drive from Newcastle Entertainment Centre. It is a 10-minute drive from Newcastle Beach and the Hunter River. We had a very comfortable stay at the Sunnyside Tavern. Newly renovated rooms, nice and quiet and a beautiful old Tavern. Staff are lovely and very hospitable. We would definitely stay again.

The House of Peking Restaurant offers Chinese cuisine, and is open every day for lunch and dinner. The bar features poker machines, pool tables and live music on Fridays. There is a free barbecue lunch every Saturday. The food and hospitality was brilliant. Accommodation was no nonsense and clean. And the best shower I have had away from home in a hell of a long time.
