We had a top floor room (14) with a lovely view of the lake and the 2 castles. We had our own balcony too. The spacious room was typical of the area, very natural and traditional. The shower was hot and powerful and the beds comfortable. We were impressed by the friendliness of the staff, notable the owner who is a great English speaker and Angela. The breakfast was also amazing with a good range of fresh produce and breads, cold meats and cheeses to name but a few. The whole place is incredibly relaxed and a view to die for. We went on a nice boat trip around the lake for 17 Euro which was lovely. Definitely a must place to stay if you want to visit the Fussen area.

Did not expect to sign a contract and pay a 100€ deposit, that's why I booked with booking.com no? But anyways, the property is very nice. The owner seems to be 100% business, not much small talk but that's ok. Sights are easy to reach from there, you are in Neuschwanstein within 45 minutes or in the next city in 10 minutes. Lots of stuff to do.
