Phenomenal staff. Phenomenal location. I wish I could have stayed longer. When I needed to cut my trip short, the owner was very understanding and helpful. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.

Bicycles are available free of charge at this inn and the area is popular for hiking. Schackenborg Castle and the German border are both within 20 minutes’ drive. Sønderborg Airport is an hour’s drive away. Peaceful location in lovely grounds. Not a standard hotel - a bit more communal (unforced) eg all eat dinner at 6 pm with a focus on finding peace and slowing down . Many rooms to read and study in. The manager showed us around and explained the concept even though we were really just passing through. Also very good value for money by Danish standards

Guests at Billum can enjoy Danish cuisine with a selection of wines at the in-house restaurant. A buffet breakfast is served every morning. Excellent location along the bike trail . Room was large , very clean and had excellent external as well as interior lighting. Comfortable bed and clean, bright toilet . Reception was very friendly. Stored bike right in room . Breakfast was very good and with multiple food options . On-site restaurant was quite good with reasonable price point .

This hotel is set in a renovated 1790s building. The hotel restaurant offers traditional Danish cuisine and imported Italian wines. Guests can relax in the garden, where a small river runs through and a children's playground is found. We stayed there after visiting Legoland. Hotel is very clean and restaurant was just perfect. The best restaurant we have been so far in Denmark!! Highly recommended.

Established in 1842, the charming Tambohus Kro is an inn that enjoys a unique location by the Limfjord opposite Jegind Island and close to Thy National Park.

The cosy restaurant, bar and a living room offers spectacular views of the fjord and Jegind Island and enjoys a warm atmosphere complemented by the open fire place. Spacious room with Sofagroup and large bed. Very nice interior and quiet.
