An inn on the Scottish Borders where I used to live for about 10 years. It was amazing... During the trip I wrote to them that I would be late...the answer was right away asking if they could leave me something to eat... When I arrived, they were waiting for me and some other guests. I felt like I had entered someone's home. Room clean, quiet pleasant, absolutely worth the price. I heartily recommend it to everyone. For those who want peace and meeting other people... In the centre of Galashiels, The Salmon Inn provides contemporary accommodation in the Scottish Borders, with free Wi-Fi. A tempting food menu is served in the Salmon Inn restaurant, which also has an outdoor terrace. Friendly, welcoming. Good at finding tables for us for dinner. Good local Dhu Stow Ale. Comfortable room with good shower.

Surrounded by scenic countryside, The Horseshoe Inn is just 10 minutes’ drive from Peebles centre. Historical Edinburgh can be reached in 30 minutes’ drive, and Dawyck Gardens are a 20-minute drive away. Room was spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent.

Located in Eyemouth, Cutty Sark Inn offers beachfront accommodation a few steps from Eyemouth Beach and provides various facilities, such as a garden and a bar. The property is around 15 km from The Maltings Theatre & Cinema, 39 km from Lindisfarne Castle and 48 km from Bamburgh Castle. The inn features family rooms. For pub accommodation it was just right. A bit old and rustic but clean and comfortable. The location was excellent, right on the foreshore and in easy walking distance to everything. The pub didn’t offer dining but we were able to get a great meal at another pub just a 5minute stroll along the marina. We are bike packers and the pub owner was very generous in letting us keep our bikes stored securely in the unused function room.

Set in St Boswells, this award-winning country Inn dates back to 1836. Located in the heart of the Scottish Borders, it offers stylish accommodation, an award-winning bar and restaurant and a charming garden. Breakfast menu was fantastic. Staff very friendly and helpful. Room and en-suite was lovely. Garden was beautiful.
