Just over a mile from Eastbourne Pier on the south coast and 20 miles from Brighton, this award-winning inn has a great location 2 minutes’ walk from the sea. There is free WiFi and free parking on site. Our room was very pleasant and the food was great (we had the full English breakfast and Sunday roast). The bathroom was very large with good storage and plenty of heating. Staff were very friendly and it was nice to stay at a family-run business that locals also enjoy visiting. The pub atmosphere felt relaxed and welcoming. It was great being located close to the start of the Seven Sister's cliff walk. The bus stop was close by and we caught the bus to the Seven Sisters Country Park and walked back to Eastbourne along the cliffs. The parking lot was also very convenient as we had driven down from London. The Pilot Inn made our stay in Eastbourne very enjoyable.
