Innisfree House is a stunning victorian guest house. The owner and staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Beautiful poster bed and very comfortable. Amazing breakfast and excellent service. Will definitely stay again when visiting Dundalk.
Localization in a sleepy tiny village, very nice and helpfull owner. Nice pub across the street and good restaurant - Rustic Inn just 5 km away in next village.
This is a very small village, but it was located 15 minutes up the M2 from Waterford, so it was conveniently located. The village was very small, so other than the Inn, there was not much there. This was definitely a tavern first and Inn second as the check-in desk was a bit cluttered and not very attractive. However, the rooms were very nice and the inn was quaint and historic.
The staff are outstanding, friendly and happy. Always checking to see if they can help in any way. Beautiful room in a historic inn. Food very good as well.
very friendly hosts, beautifully renovated period house , room & beds comfortable, in the countryside but only a 5 minute walk from small village, food good in the rustic inn, asked what we wanted for breakfast, good Irish breakfast that was served to us, 10 minutes drive from centre parks.
We had the newest room available in their newly restored guest house (not the main B&B building). No noise from outside could be heard and as a result we slept like babies. The award winning restaurant was excellent, serving up what you desired from a focused breakfast and expansive lunch and dinner menu's. On the whole an excellent few days away.
The house is as restored 18th/19th century residential home and it has been done with great taste. About 7 minutes walk from the house is a very good restaurant/pub called The Rustic Inn. I had a very good 3 course dinner there - their wine list is very good considering that its a small rural village. The combination of Abbeyview house and the nearby restaurant makes this an ideal setting for a short visit to the locality
Amazing rustic small village Inn with just perfect rooms to stay for the night. Cleanliness of the room is 10/10. Room quality matches a Hilton hotel room no doubt. Been to more expensive and less appealing hotel rooms before from international chains. The service is very welcoming and the staff is just so easygoing and helpful. The chef/ kitchen staff also top notch, the food quality is just excellent.
Dinner was excellent in Le Taverne felt like I was in Italy.
Beautiful location with access to lots of walking routes and a short walk to Laragh. The Lodge itself is stunning and well maintained by the friendly innkeeper Chris! This was our second stay and we took one of the cabins which was perfect for the few days. We enjoyed spending downtime sitting by the river and made use of the on-site firepit to make s'mores! Would recommend!
