Excellent location nearby niseko but not directly in the town so nice and quiet. Near a lot of options for hot springs and food as well. The staff was amazing, providing breakfast and assistance for anything at any time.

The staff were very welcoming and it was easy to check in. The hotel was pretty easy to find - even without initially noticing the giant billboard across from the JR station. The room we were initially shown was way too hot to sleep (it started at 25 degrees celsius and while we went out for dinner it increased to 28 degrees). When I called the front, someone immediately came to check our room and once he couldn't provide an external solution, he moved us to another room. He even took our bags while we were moving to the new room.

Free shutter bus service from JR station to hotel is very convenient and hotel also have a free shutter to the blue pond too. Breakfast and dinner also good.

Always enjoy the usual Dormy Inn extras. Free ice-creams at night after an onsen, free yakult in the morning. Outdoor onsen was nice.

Boken Kazoku was very cozy and comfortable. The staff was by far the best part. They were kind, helpful, and very knowledgeable of the area. We loved the dinner we had there as well and the deer in the curry was shot by Ana-san, one of the owners! Very rustic indeed :) The rooms were great though with traditional futons. We had a heater in the room, a lovely view outside, and a nice communal kitchen as well.

I felt very welcome as soon as I arrived. The owner had provided a detailed description of how to reach the inn beforehand which made it super easy to find. The location of the property is excellent, only about 5min walking distance from Hakodate station. The room was clean and had everything I needed and the bath was very relaxing. If I'm back in Hakodate, I'll definitely stay at Pension Puppy Tail again!

A clean, comfortable and friendly place to stay. We loved our host and found it easy to get to the ski field on the provided shuttle.Breakfast was tasty but we didn’t try dinner as we needed to book it in advance. The pension is also not a huge walk from the resort if one decides to take a stroll.
