Situated on a hill, about 200 metres from Kandy Lake and less than 2 km from the city centre, Days Inn offers free Wi-Fi and free transfers from the city on arrival. All rooms have air conditioning and a private bathroom with hot water. We lived in a room with a swimming pool. Everything was clean, cleaned and neat. The view of the pool and courtyard deserves a separate recommendation to visit there, everything is green and well-groomed, you feel very cosy - both the eye and soul rest. We arrived late and were very tired from the road, we were also hungry. Chanaka manager came to our rescue, who didn't leave us hungry at the late hour. We would like to express our gratitude to him, he is a really kind and sympathetic person. He also helped to build a suitable route for us to see the neighbouring temples and find a driver for trip. Special thanks to Silve for personal care and attention. Definitely recommend it!

All of the staff was so very warm, friendly and helpful, and they were clearly invested in us having a good experience. We were welcomed with a DELICIOUS meal upon our (late) arrival and instantly made to feel at home. We appreciated the company of the owner who even shared a few songs with us, and we were able to arrange plans for a guided tour the next day which was also very lovely.
