Gerês Guest House was a fantastic place to stay to adventure around the national park! It was central, and they were so helpful with telling me about places to go and things to see. The room was nice and clean, not any less than I needed. Again the owner was so helpful, and it was the perfect place to stay for a few days of hiking.

Lovely place with river view and lovely staff. I recommend it for a day or more of relaxation. I ate dinner there after a long day of walk and it was good, with honest prices and vegetarian options as well. The commons areas are well structured with free joga classes in the morning. I was there alone but I was warmly welcomed by the staff, it was a nice surprise!

Modern hotel with an extraordinary view, on the banks of Cavado river. A good place to explore the area of Peneda Gerês. Dinner and breakfast were tasty. The staff is exceptionally kind! Beds were extremely comfortable.

The owner Elizabeth and her family were truly loving and kind. The food was clean, fresh, and amazing. My room had a Feng Shui simplicity. It was so calm with great energy, as was the entire property. The proximity to the Penada Geres National Park and all the adventures it has to offer. Elizabeth had excellent recommendations on trails and activities. I loved the dinners and conversation at the end of the day. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to get away to the outdoors!

Unique location with a spectacular view. Rustic rooms with comfy beds where it stays nice and cool. The grounds are very well maintained and the pool invites you to relax. Very good breakfast and dinner with home-grown products. The house wine is highly recommended. We took a bottle with us for the rest of our trip. We would come again at any time! Thank you for a fabulous stay.
