We loved the exquisitely decorated guest house with a stunning view in the most beautiful rural location. Maria was very friendly and accommodating and prepared the most delicious dinner on the patio overlooking the.pool and vineyards. The breakfast was also outstanding and we loved everything about our stay!

Great venue overall, with friendly host, excellent (included) breakfast and tasty dinners (which were extra $, but well worth the price, which included wine and port after dinner. Social engagement with other guests was great. Excellent place to stay when in the Douro Valley.

Everything was amazing. I couldn't recommend more this guest house. The staff is really friendly and helpful. The dinner with al the guests at one table was a different yet amazing experience, and the food (and wine!!) was very good (the port wine served before and after was one of the bests that I tasted!). We were lucky to have one of the best bedrooms of the guest house. Was enormous and very comfortable. We really recommend you visit this guest house for its different and you feel like home.

A hidden gem in the hills approximately 8 kms from Vidago. We were a group of three couples though decided to take the 5 bedroom farmhouse as each room had its own en-suite. The farmhouse is rustic in style though is large and has everything that’s is needed. The bonus was the welcome we received from Daniella and her family. A fabulous dinner with local wines and breakfast. We wished we could have stayed longer.

This beautifully restored 200-year old house was lovingly decorated with rustic charm, but with all the modern conveniences. The bed was very comfortable, the shower was excellent, good heating system, beautiful linens and thoughtful touches. The owners are very congenial and kind with recommendations for dinner and wines. We highly recommend!

The position of the guest house gives you a fantastic view down to the Douro Valley. The shared dinners turned out to be so interesting with all the guests from different countries talking and laughing together in whichever language suited best!

We had an Amazing experience in this beautiful little vineyard! The place is still used by the family and kept vey rustic. The dinner and wine tasting was great! Don’t miss it if you come stay there. The location is also excellent

People. Never seen hosts like Miguel & the people around him. It's like when we are at grandma's house. There's always food and wines. Wines were amazing, dinners were out of this world cooked by Miguel as well. There's a genuine care on everything. Never visited same place twice but we are considering it now. And mostly because we simply want to visit them again. Don't expect a standard commercial hotel. This is a very unique guest house with genuine local people.

Just newly refurbished this small rustic hotel was clean ,fresh ,smart and modern with great Wi-Fi . Excellent location just outside Braganza with good parking. Breakfast was very good and dinner was typical Portuguese at hotel O Abel next door . Friendly atmosphere and great value . We are certainly going back there to explore area further and to stay in this hotel .
