The home was perfect for our needs, and we loved having two separate levels for sleeping. This allowed us to break up the two families that were traveling together nicely. The living room was spacious, and we loved the reclining chairs. The dining room table and countertop dining provided ample room for everyone to eat at the same time. The kitchen was just right for the number of people (3 adults and 3 kids), and we cooked breakfast and dinners every day with ease.

Great location, close to beach, Hatteras lighthouse and restaurants. Friendly staff, lots of space to park, fast WiFi. Rooms are standard motel style, somewhat worn, but the Hatteras Island Inn offers good value considering the location. Happy to come back!

Everything was wonderful! John the owner was extremely hospitable and responsive to our needs. The location is great. Close to the beautiful historic Currituck Park, wild horses and shops! The property is quiet, nice and convenient. There is a 7 eleven convenience store within walking distance and a shell on the other side of the inn within walking distance as well, the grocery stores out here are a bit expensive but dollar general is right next door. The parking available by each room is a plus as well as the little deck area, my son and I spend some time on the deck area of our little unit.
