An absolutely beautiful cottage, superbly appointed by host Margaret. Every little (and big) guest need it catered for, from bathrobes to toiletries, coffee machines to champagne flutes. Yhere was even a balloon fir my Husband's birthday. We were lucky enough to use the new hot tub, which was lovely night and day. Amazingly comfy beds, although will cost me as my daughter now wants feather pillows :-) thank you so much!

The Inn is not really walking distance to Cartmel so we had to leave the car in the village and appreciated very much that on request we were collected from the restaurant with our bags and taken back to the Inn by a very friendly man. The king size bed was super comfy, the bathroom was spacious and there was a lovely view down the valley. The room was very clean and quiet. THE FOOD IN THE DINING HALL IS QUITE EXCEPTIONAL FOR QUALITY, QUANTITY AND CHOICE. SUPER CHEF AND WAITING-ON TEAM. PROPER CUT GLASSES FOR DRINKS. DIFFICULT TO GET A BOOKING AS "WORD OF MOUTH" SELLS THIS PLACE. FAMILY OWNED TEAM WORK REALLY HARD.
