Excellent location and a wonderful lake view to wake up to. Remote and peaceful yet very easy to get into Newport. We stayed for 3 nights as a group of 6 in our late 30's + 1 baby. Our trips purpose was to spend some quality time together as we all now live across the UK and Ireland, and also to attend a friend's birthday in Newport. For this, the Lodge of perfect. The hot tube was also a great addition.

Our hosts let us know where good restaurants and pubs were close by and even offered to drop us off somewhere if needed. Facilities were immaculate and the bed was extremely comfortable. The garden was beautiful with the cozy snug and of course...the hot tub! We would definitely stay here again.
