Everything! Sue is very kind and hospitable! The room and adjoining dressing room and bath were nicely furnished/equipped, including an electric kettle with various hot drink options. Breakfast was exceptional! Lots of choices! Yum! The property is picturesque, and the chirping birds really add to the natural ambiance. Just lovely!

The super-king bed was very comfortable (the best we had in an 11 day trip) and the room was spacious. Bathroom also spacious and a lovely bath. Room was quiet (not always the case with a pub), just very occasional noise from upstairs which was not a problem. The village is quiet and rural, and the location suited us as we were visiting relatives nearby.

The friendly welcome from Jon. The room was lovely with a comfy bed. Bathroom fairly spacious - up in the roof so slanted ceiling. Power shower was fab. Excellent food and fair selection of drinks.

Everything, from checking in to checking out. The staff were really friendly, and the room was spotlessly clean, spacious, warm, and quiet. The bar/lounge was beautifully decorated and clean. Breakfast was cooked to order, so it was fresh and hot. The car park at the rear was ample. The hotel is on the high St and a short walk from the shops and bars.

The house was a Swedish-style log cabin which was extremely warm and comfortable. It had it's own private jacuzzi(outside) and a huge large bath (inside). The shower in the en-suite was also excellent. Lovely views of the fields and pheasant, sparrowhawk and other birds.

Excellent stay in this characterful property, an oasis of calm beside the A19. Warm personal welcome, great room, spacious bathroom, relaxing. Attentive service without being intrusive or pretentious. Delicious food, had dinner both nights, wine was good and reasonably priced. Breakfast was very good, local produce, freshly cooked and appetising. Great walks nearby but the best bit was relaxing in our room.

This is absolutely the most relaxing place for 2 to come and stay. The host was absolutely lovely, who couldn't do enough for us. The place was as describe so beautiful, morning & evening dips in the hot tub facing the dales what more could you ask for. Yes it is next to the cow's, but didn't bother us at all. Would definitely go back loved having to choice to relax in your own little space.
