The lodge was beautiful, perfect location and the alpacas were a definite perk! So comfortable and relaxing and the information book was very helpful. The hot tub was lovely and the perfect temperature everytime.

The lodge had everything we could ask for. Very modern and very clean. Very secure site with electric gates to get in and out. Owners were so friendly and greeted us on arrival and exit. Hot tub at temperature and very private, which made us feel comfortable.

Short walk into town. A nice walk up to the lighthouse memorial right from the gates of the property. Dog friendly. Parking on site. The cottage was more spacious than expected from the photos. I liked the decor of the bedroom with the dark coloured bathroom the best, it felt more modern which is a personal choice.

Mike and Vicky were helpful and welcoming and the cottage was cosy with all modern conveniences and amenities. It was a rare treat being able to take a bath after a long day of trekking in the Lake District. It was extremely quiet at night and the bed was super comfortable so we slept like babies. We were treated to a complementary guided tour of the neighbouring water mill.

A jacuzzi bath in one of the rooms and the log burner in the sitting area were a nice bonus. The host had greeted us and showed us around. The house is located just by the pathway to the lighthouse monument which is a must see in Ulverston. Big, comfortable beds, modern bathrooms and a large, fully equiped kitchen. Loved our stay. Our room was beautiful with a lovely lounge area to relax, the jacuzzi bath was an added luxury. It was by far the best breakfast we’ve had at a B&B, fresh fruit platter, homemade marmalade and preserves and a beautifully cooked breakfast. Highly recommended and we will certainly return if we are back in the area.

I realised that this was a huge mistake once we were shown to our room. The view is perfect and the large balcony windows helped frame it. The bath was large, the water was hot and bubble bath was supplied - it was just the relaxing night needed. The restaurant was just as good, friendly staff, wonderful choices and a steak perfectly cooked. All while looking over the bay.

Our room was in the attic, with a lovely lounge area and jacuzzi bath. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. Ideal position to walk into Ulverston, where we enjoyed some lovely meals out.
