We spoke with Kathryn on the phone upon arrival and she very kindly welcomed us. The property was stunning throughout & immaculately clean. The keys were easily accessible at the lockbox. We booked the property especially because of the hot tub …and it didn’t disappoint .. after a long drive from Cornwall it was the perfect place to relax. There is a local town nearby if you need any supplies. A great base to enjoy the Lake District ! Thank you for our stay

I'd be proud to recommend Armidale to anyone staying in the area and will visit again with pleasure

I had Room 1 which was on the ground floor close to the entrance (but further from bathroom). Spacious, neat room. Host says bring own toiletries but all you need is shower gel, the rest including towels and toilet paper was available. Location in Workington town is good, quiet, always had parking.

An ideal location if you wanna visit the western lake district( buttermere lake, castlerigg stone circle, etc). Well equipped kitchen with plenty of utilities, comfortable bed, spacious rooms and bathrooms. Living room had many board games which was very nice.
