We absolutely loved the privacy, scenery, and overall quality of this B&B! Nestled in the countryside of the Matamata region, this cozy little studio-type location has a breathtaking view of rural New Zealand as the sun comes rising above the mountains just a few kilometers away. As a photographer I'm always on the lookout for quaint locations that I can take stunning portraits, and for this stay I didn't have to go any further than the garden at the back of the property. I can not recommend staying here enough and can't wait for our return visit in a few years!

Wow, was not expecting such a GORGEOUS stay! Super clean, airy with lots of natural light from the large windows viewing the backyard with horses running around. Such a beautiful property, and very easy to check in with comfy beds and fantastic amenities. We loved the hot shower at the end of our long travels. Only stayed for one night, wish we could have stayed longer, definitely would recommend!

A calm, comfortable oasis to relax and rejuvenate before continuing on our adventure! The hosts are superb, and the breakfast was definitely appreciated. While we weren't up to using the spa, it is in a gorgeous spot on the property. The covered guest parking is easy to find. We really enjoyed walking around the garden too! The house is a beautiful and unique place to stay and makes an excellent base to explore Matamata and the surrounding areas, or even just enjoy some down time on a busy trip. We enjoyed having a lounge area and access to Netflix. Breakfast spread was very nice - included a mini loaf of homemade bread and what also appeared to be homemade biscuits, which were delicious! Even the products provided in the bathroom were really good quality. We also enjoyed meeting Hunter the friendly dog! The owner Mia was very friendly and seemed happy to help should we have needed it.

We didn’t have far to lug our luggage. We found the room very roomy. The space was a relief so we could move around and not get in each other’s way. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom large and very clean and kitchen clean and well appointed. The location was easy to find and close enough to town centre. Being across the tracks from a supermarket was a benefit too. Thank you for a very relaxing stay.
