One of the best accomodation places we have ever stayed in. All round amazing in every way. Peaceful, restful with everything we needed and spotlessly clean. Little way out of town which added to whole experience. We would return in a flash.

Such a gorgeous and comfortable house and beautifully decorated for Christmas too which made it feel really homely. Neil and Sue were lovely and their wonderful dog "Ted" is so friendly! The lamb we had for dinner and the cooked breakfast next day were both amazing and it was definitely one of our favourite places visited throughout New Zealand.

A calm, comfortable oasis to relax and rejuvenate before continuing on our adventure! The hosts are superb, and the breakfast was definitely appreciated. While we weren't up to using the spa, it is in a gorgeous spot on the property. The covered guest parking is easy to find. We really enjoyed walking around the garden too! The house is a beautiful and unique place to stay and makes an excellent base to explore Matamata and the surrounding areas, or even just enjoy some down time on a busy trip. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed having a lounge area and access to Netflix. Breakfast spread was very nice - included a mini loaf of homemade bread and what also appeared to be homemade biscuits, which were delicious! Even the products provided in the bathroom were really good quality. We also enjoyed meeting Hunter the friendly dog! The owner Mia was very friendly and seemed happy to help should we have needed it.

We didn’t have far to lug our luggage. We found the room very roomy. The space was a relief so we could move around and not get in each other’s way. The bed was so comfortable, the bathroom large and very clean and kitchen clean and well appointed. The location was easy to find and close enough to town centre. Being across the tracks from a supermarket was a benefit too. Thank you for a very relaxing stay.
