You do have to peek a bit to see the lake from the hotel but you can walk to it easily. The staff is very friendly and always helpful. I'm generally getting to breakfast at the end but there is still always plenty for me to choose from. The staff also doesn't try to rush you out of breakfast and just lets you eat. They also have a good system where your room is assigned a breakfast table which eliminates that tired wandering around looking for a free spot and then leaving some sort of item on the table that you'd probably rather not leave behind. This is a great idea!
