Situated in Skibbereen, in a historic building, 8.4 km from St Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen, Stone Barn is a recently renovated guest house with a garden and terrace. There is an in-house restaurant, plus free private parking and free WiFi are available. The guest house has a hot tub and luggage storage space. We stayed only one night but we had a great experience at Stone Barn. Karin was a great host who gave us a warm welcome. Our room had everything we needed and the bathroom was very spacious and very clean. Soft towels and also bathrobes were present. Best of all was the breakfast, we could choose from a whole menu and everything was freshly made by Karin's husband Stuart. It was excellent, we ate as much as we could. Would definitely stay there again when given the chance.

Beautifully appointed cottage, private and very comfortable, like a home away from home! The grounds are magnificent and peaceful, perfect for a romantic getaway. The pool is a wonderful added feature. The hosts Gerard and Ann gave us a warm welcome and they communicated with us before and during our stay for ease of arrival and check-in, as well as offering helpful tips during our stay. Good home base for day trips in and around west cork.

Boasting a spa bath, RossNua is a holiday home situated in Rosscarbery, on the Wild Atlantic Way. Located close to the beach, the holiday home is in an area where guests can engage in activities such as boating, fishing and a driving range. The owner is extremely helpful, he had even thought of providing some muffins and milk for us for breakfast. The house is spacious and perfectly located in the heart of Rosscarbery. The town itself is really beautiful and peaceful.

The Stone House B&B is situated in the coastal village of Baltimore on the Wild Atlantic Way. Skibbereen is 12 km away. The owners offer boat trips, snorkelling and scuba diving facilities, as well as whale and dolphin watching opportunities and Fastnet Rock lighthouse sunset tours. Located 1 km from Bantry, Bru Na Pairc features B&B accommodation just 2 km from Bantry Pier where they can take a boat for Whiddy Island. The property features a shared lounge with TV, free WiFi and free private parking. This was my second time staying with Peggy and it certainly won't be the last one, I am looking forward to coming back to her beautiful B&B. She went above and beyond to help me and my dad with anything we needed. She even drove us to our bus stop and to Glengariff! She recommended different interesting locations in Cork and was kind and thoughtful. Just like last time, the breakfast was fantastic, homemade, rich and varied!!! My stay at Bru Na Pairc couldn't have been any better. The location is extremely peaceful and the rooms are super clean and cozy with a nice view. I came to Bantry by bus and didn't have a car, but the town center was only a short walk way. I'll be back soon :) Thank you for everything, Peggy!
