Our main reason for coming to this area was to drive the...
Our main reason for coming to this area was to drive the Grossglockner Alpenstrasse. I thought Heiligenblut looked like it might be an interesting place to spend a couple of days. We were very lucky, our stay coincided with their Octoberfest and we had a good time photographing local people in traditional dress and enjoying the food and a beer or two. The scenery is stunning and the Alpenstrasse is quite pleasant - nowhere near as terrifying as some websites would like you to believe.
