The location itself was ideal, only 10 minute walk to the Eleftheria square and entrance to the old town. There are coffeehouses, restaurants, minimarket, clothing stores on Makarios avenue where the apartment was situated. The owner of the establishment George Stavrides was really helpful, my broken shower head holder was fixed promptly. I would highly recommend Angel Suites to single travellers and couples.

Right next door is the wonderful pedestrian area of Laiki Geitonia, where you can buy handmade silver jewelry and other souvenirs from Cyprus. The breakfast is wonderful, in addition to the usual cold snacks, you can order hot dishes - fried eggs, omelets or pancakes. The rooms were very clean.

Walking distance from Eleftheria square and many good restaurants and shopping streets (Makariou, Stasikratous). The flat was very clean and had a good sized bedroom and bathroom, and a small desk space. Also there was a Netflix account (of the hotel) already programmed into the TV so you don't need to use your own.

There are a lot of restaurants, cafes and shops nearby. The whole old city can be explored by foot. The apartment itself is part of an old historic house. The owner of the apartment was very nice and friendly and he provided us with a lot of helpful info and suggestions to spend well our stay.

All of these are within 5 minutes walk as is the Makarios Avenue shopping district. Good wifi, a plasma screen TV with local channels, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed, and plenty of storage. Plenty of bars, cafes and restaurants within walking distance. Car parking is also available at a very reasonable cost.

It is well equipped and had everything needed for a self-catering stay. The small balcony has a breakfast bar from where you can sit and watch the world go by. As a regular business traveller to Cyprus I will be using the Sofouli Suites again.

There is also a bus stop very close by. The building is not very attractive, particularly the shared interior (corridors etc). But the apartment itself has been renovated to a high standard and is well furnished and is also well equipped so it suited my needs just fine. All in all it was very comfortable and well worth the price.NigelGreece
