The Schlossberg tower is unremarkable - better views from...
The Schlossberg tower is unremarkable - better views from the lower park area above beer garden. Walks badly marked up higher and few good viewing points. Highly recommend walk to St Ottilien (4km) to Guesthouse for coffee/cake. Mostly flat only problem is that you have to walk back but it’s slightly downhill, so not difficult. Leave from viewing point above beer garden.

The view from the hotel and the breakfast room is nice and the quality and variety of the breakfast buffet deserves a special commendation.

Under a 10 minute walk to get to the heart of the Altstadt. Great atmosphere and crowd, met some really cool people here. Free luggage storage on the day of arrival and departure.
