Bought tickets for elevator ride for May 27- while at level 2 no one was able to access the top due to technical difficulties. Went to customer service and we were told we would get a refund for the difference. Checked into account and we did get 20 e back. The lady said there are frequent troubles.
We used our vaccination QR to access all places in Paris, spent 2 days in Disney. Enjoyed Mulin Rouge. Travelled to and from Paris on Air France, but was not allowed to climb the Eifel Tower as we did not have the green pass. We had 3 vaccinations, we had our vaccination certificate and still was refused to give us access to enter to climb the tower. Who will afford us another holiday just to climb the Eifel Towe???
Not the Eiffel tower I visited in the past with all the new barricades around it so it has lost some of the splendour and romance when approaching it on foot. The queues to buy tickets are also worse than I remember but this could just be because everything feels much more claustrophobic with all the fences around. Overall though, it is still the Eiffel Tower and an amazing structure to see (especially at night) and from which to experience the views of Paris. We ate lunch at the Jules Verne restaurant and it was amazing - $$$ but amazing!
Tower itself is incredible, go up at night the entire tower lights up on the hour every hour. We got a lift up and walked the steps down. But book online as the booked advanced ticket line is next to non compared to people arriving on a whim needing to line up for hours. Be prepared for people selling tat from every angle!
Photo opportunity!! We went 2 times during the trip. We went at night when it’s all lit up - it’s STUNNING at night and the views from the top of the city lights is just beyond beautiful 2nd visit by day, used the cafe there & the gift shop. Brilliant views of the river from the top in daylight. The grounds around the Tower are also lovely. I went in February so the trees are bare then.
What happened to the spirit of Paris? Now it is encased in glass, you can't walk underneath the tower, and queues . . . one to get in, then one to go up the tower. The bad thing is the touts and souvenir sellers, who wait outside the exit to pounce, and you can't even walk around the area, as the souvenir sellers are laid out all around, it is awful. What happened to the French pride and spirit?
The location is excellent, you can get to the Eiffel tower on foot, the room comfortable, quiet and very clean, the breakfast very good and the lady who attended us at breakfast very friendly and attentive to everything we needed, the staff at the front counter super, they help us answering every question we ask. definitely I'll go back to that hotel on my next visit to Paris. Thank you Le Hameau de Passy.
7th arr., Paris
Very friendly and welcoming staff. Thank you so much for this welcome and help. It´s a nice and clean room, half open bathroom which was great. Comfortable bed. Just some walking minutes from the Eiffel tower and metro away. Parking is not that easy at all in Paris, open parking is 2 walking minutes away available (43,- EUR / day). I liked the hotel a lot. Thanks again.
Room was amazing. It exceeded my expectation. The view to Eiffel Tower + view to L'Arc de Triomphe is unforgettable. Location is great. You can choose to walk to see the best of Paris or just 2 minutes walk and you can take metro wherever you want. There are at least 20 restaurants around Hotel so this is also additional plus to choose this place for your next stay.
Breakfest was very good. This small hotel is very stylish and perfectly located. Easy acces to the bus - going for example to the most Paris attractions - Camps D'Elysses and Eiffel tower included. There is also a walking distance 12 minutes to the Paris d'Est train station - straight by just one street.
Well placed charming hotel in the heart of Paris, with lovely friendly staff! I had a room with a mural of the Eiffel Tower (actually quite nice instead of kitsch) and a view to a rainy inner courtyard, which was quite calming. Good sized room and bathroom, all clean. Would recommend and stay again :)
hotel is brilliant, perfect location to stay for when you are in paris, stones throw away from Eiffel tower as well as any tours etc also start from right outside the hotel which is very convenient as a pickup drop location. Lovely cafes and restaurants nearby.

Beautiful apartments Great location: we could see the Eiffel Tower Good value for a family in Paris, which is an expensive City I would rent this apartment again and again
Paris is a very big city with many unique places to visit, I must admit that this hotel has very good location, it is very close to Eiffel Tower and nice cafes.
- Nice hotel in the center of Paris, walking distance to the Eiffel Tower - Friendly personnel - Nice breakfast
if one goes to the Louvre you acquire headsets. It is pretty amazing viewing a painting of Napoleon crowning Josephine and the historical significance of this amazing piece of art is explained in the most beautiful artistic voice. Captivating... , not just this one painting the whole museum of priceless treasures. I felt honoured to view this amazing collection. The artifacts are breathtaking. It is amazing riding a double decker bus and wearing a headset. Two trips around the city and you are most familiar with the sights and their historical significance to start your journey. Plaques in doorways and on statue's leave the visitor a good over view of the past. A trip to Versailles again headsets that advise the visitors the past. The streets, the cobblestones the architecture, the open markets and cafe's, the preservation of the past intact is so very amazing to a first time visitor. Paris is exciting! Paris is busy. Paris is steeped in culture and is bigger than life itself. I stood beneath the Eiffel Tower and looked up trying to imagine the past and the men that built this magnificent structure. The residents of Paris make their city come to life. They are proud of their city. Very clean and orderly.
Skip the Louvre & the Champs-Elysees, stroll the Tuilleries and the Latin Quarter instead, & talk to people, but remember you're in THEIR country so learn some basic French (please, thank you, G'day, G'eve, etc.) - you'll find a lot of people who speak English. Use the Metro and the "river taxi" (that's what I call it, anyway). DO enjoy cafe au lait often at outdoor cafes, look at around and up at the old buildings, take your time and soak it all in. Don't waste money on 4 & 5, or even 3 - star hotels & "fancy" restaurants - see where the most French are eating and try those places. But, I'm biased and fluent in the language. One can "do" Paris in 3 days - Musee d'Orsay, Musee Marmottan (Monets!!!), Sacre Coeur, Eiffel Tower & Notre Dame, and if you must, the Arc de Triomphe, but it's not worth the hassle). Skip Versailles, go to Fountainbleau (you can get a R/T ticket at the Metro station (subway, train, bus). Hotel in the Latin Quarter.
Find all the hidden playgrounds, visit the jardin du luxembourg and budget for carousel rides. A good view of the city can be found at the top of the wheel/roue within the jardin des tuileries rather than queuing for the tour Eiffel or scycraper.
Go early!! For the Eiffel Tower we took the stairs which was fun for our children and the line up was minimal.
Louve. Go to Eiffel Tower early, they shut down access to the top when we were there because of over crowding at the top.
Paris at night is amazing, make sure you go to the Eiffel Tower at night and wait for it to sparkle for you!
