Certainly a worthwhile visit but only for an hour or two.
Certainly a worthwhile visit but only for an hour or two. More to see at Walmer. However, the car park is free for EH members, and if you're not, it'll be refunded (with the provided ticket) at the payment desk.

The location is amazing, a very short walk to the beach front, and Deal castle is just across the road. The most comfortable beds, everything you could need. The welcome pack was a lovely addition. The enclosed garden was perfect for our dog. The hosts were wonderful & helpful. Nothing was too much trouble. We would recommend it to everyone & would love to stay again. Thank you so much for a wonderful weekend.

Secondary glazing, kept the room quiet, right next to Deal Castle road. Powerful shower. Towels that smell great, some hotel towel are laundry cleaned and don't smell nice. Comfortable bed. Bathroom extract fan working. Everything worked, nothing broken like some places. Really clear instructions for everything. Everything thought through to give a great stay.

We walked everywhere during our stay - that's how close everything was. The high street, Deal Castle, great pubs and the beach were literally on our doorstep. The bathroom was very well equipped, lovely large bath towels. Tea and coffee making facilities in the room with fresh milk in the fridge. Location was very near to Deal Castle, the beach, although this is very stony, and the main shopping area. There was lots of information and guides to local attractions.
