Brilliant walking and once on the high bits the views are...
Brilliant walking and once on the high bits the views are great. Get the ferry from Christchurch to the end of the Head and walk back; 2 hours leisurely and take in the scenery and wildlife. Must do it all again.

No need to drive if you are happy and able to walk. The furthest of these (Mudeford Spit) is about 3 miles away; Hengistbury Head about 2 miles; The Priory is less than a mile via the ferry or just over a mile-and-a-half via Tuckton Bridge. Riverside walks only 5 minutes away.

The room and surroundings were lovely, just perfect. Our room was a small cosy room, beautifully decorated. It was quiet, had air conditining and a lovely view. Breakfast was also perfect, sitting outside in the warm weather. We had dinner one night and the food was great but they had sadly run out of one of the choices. Plenty of storage space in drawers and wardrobes (often a gripe of mine, so this is great), though that does contribute towards limiting space a little around the bed. Excellent breakfasts with good options. Very convenient for walking into town or even down to Hengistbury Head.
