Beautiful and peaceful - visit when they open at 9:30am...
Beautiful and peaceful - visit when they open at 9:30am before it gets busy. There is plenty of parking and the cafe is good. Currently they are referring the Shop but once finished it will be a great improvement.

Poolewe itself is a lovely village, with river rushing through it, beautiful walks, and the spectacular Inverewe Gardens only 1km away. If you need to eat in the evening, make sure you book a table at the Poolewe Hotel ( 5 min walk away, if that), there's nowhere else open unless you drive to Gairloch (10-15 mins).

Plenty of on-site parking. Close to Inverewe Garden, one of the best gardens we have visited in our round Scotland road trip in July. We were recommended to have dinner at Myrtle Bank Hotel which is less than 15 minute drive away. The seafood is excellent and the dishes are reasonably priced. We have one of the best seafood dinners of our trip.KinYuenSingapore

It is a nicely decorated period house, situated very close to Inverewe Gardens, and a short drive from Gairloch and from the beach at Mellon Udrigle. Ross works hard and is a welcoming host.
