Amazing cathedral and history around two key saints.
Amazing cathedral and history around two key saints. Enjoy some cake and a cuppa in the superb contemporary extension that houses the shop and cafe, and linger longer to catch evensong to hear the wonderful acoustics. Outside summer months there are free monthly organ recitals as part of the International Organ Festival so check if one is on when you visit! Really enjoyed the one I attended in May 2022.

Breakfast plentiful. Could have eaten there at night but chose to use one of the other restaurants in the area. Right opposite the entrance to Sumpter Yard and the St Albans Cathedral. Car parking on site.

We did not dine there in the evening but the breakfast was exceptionally good - freshly cooked with obvious care - the best we have had for a long time in a hotel.
