The Room was lovely with very comfy bed and great shower. Booked an Evening meal which was delicious. Breakfast was also excellent. Staff were very pleasant and friendly especially the Lady who booked us in and the young man who looked after us at dinner. Very spacious, very clean, very comfortable and just a walk to the end of the lane and there was the bus stop to Winchester Christmas Market. Could not have faulted it and having snow was a bonus. Oh yes, also, loved the Christmas trees.

We ate our evening meal in the packed restaurant, the food was delicious and tasty. We also had a fabulous breakfast there aswell and the service was very attentive. The whole place has a lovely warm, cosy feel, helped by the log fire and fairy lights. We were glad we had chosen to stay the 2 nights here for our visit to winchester Christmas markets, and would definitely return when in the area.
