Accommodation is limited up on the volcano rim, and plentiful down in the crater, but in the crater, the flies will drive you mad. There are fish drying enterprises down there, and I think they attract fish. If possible, stay up top!!

The accommodation is down a very long, steep and bumpy driveway but the staff were happy to take you up to Kintamani to explore the area. A restaurant (also with an amazing view) was just down the road so you didn't have to go far for food.
