Nice unique little town with many to see including wildlife.
Nice unique little town with many to see including wildlife. The people of Kusatsu are very friendly and helpful. Recommend to bring a face mask/cover in case the smell from the water is too strong when visiting the Yubatake. Good for 2D1N trip.

I got to enjoy it by myself which was a great experience. The level of service was amazing, with staff showcasing exceptional friendliness. The yukatas in our room were a thoughtful gesture that deeply enriched our cultural experience, making our trip feel even more special. I would stay here again!

We had a young lady from Nepal who spoke good english. Very spacious & comfortable rooms, lovely onsen on 1F, the breakfast & dinner was impressive & delicious. Free tea/coffee till 5:30pm. The has shuttle bus for guests who are going to Yubatake or the central. We had a huge room. Japanese combine with western. We will definitely recommend this hotel to our friends and family.

It’s a bit of a walk (15 minutes) outside of the town center, so it’s nice and quiet and away from the strong sulphur smell from the Yubatake. There is a shuttle to town if needed, but the walk is nice and safe. Onsen facility in the hotel was clean, with an indoor and outdoor bath. Staff were very friendly and communicated well even though they don’t speak English and my Japanese is not very strong. Thanks for a lovely stay!CarliLebanon

Immersive experience, extremely lovely owner, amenities such as a washer, heating, bath, kitchen etc., with a conbini and supermarket (relatively) close by, all easily accessible by walking or car (parking is sometimes a rarity however).
