The location is also very good, a bit far from Nikko station, but at a walkable distance from all the relevant places. It also has a convenience store very close and the buses stops are also close.

Tasty breakfast included, with Japanese (vegetable curry) as well as Western (toast) options. The hotel was quiet and safe. The room was somewhat small but not out of the ordinary for Japanese hotels. Probably would not be a great option if you are planning to spend most of your day in the accommodation, but since we spent most of the day out sightseeing and were only at the accommodation at night it was perfectly comfortable for what we needed.

The space is old and a bit worn but charming and the staff is great. It's a hotel with a feeling of a hostel for older people as there is a lounge for watching TV where you can meet and chat with other visitors, and tables where they serve breakfast and dinner. The french toast is always delicious. This is our second visit and we will always stay there whenever we go back to Nikkō.

Near to bus station (3 mins walk) and Chuzenji Lake Bus Terminal (10 min walk, more bus back to Nikko station). There's also a small local supermarket near the hostel, offering cheap bentos and food ingredients. Owner is a guide, so you can learn more about the environment of Nikko.Chun MingHong Kong

It is very clean and staff is kind, attentive and supportive. They offer a shuttle bus once per day from Nikko Station. There are three hot pools, one inside and two outside. Japanese style rooms are big and very cozy.
