Lovely place in the maasai mara. The staff is really friendly, the game drives are amazing and the place looks lovely. The tents are beautiful and the staff make sure you have a warm bed at night. Most likely you find some wildlife in their beautiful garden when having lunch or breakfast.

Giraffe Hills Mara Camp, hotel in Keekorok

Situated in Masai Mara, Giraffe Hills Mara Camp has a restaurant and a bar. The hotel features family rooms. At the hotel, the rooms include a balcony.

The place, will not even call it a lodge, is a total scam. Totally horrifying experience that you will definitely send your worst enemy there. They only provide electricity from 6pm to 10pm, and 6am to 7am. The driver that picked us up, insisted and demanded us to pay entrance fee to the park of USD80 per pax telling us the camp is inside the park. Then on the next morning, demanded another USD 80 per pax for park entrance fee again, and this time telling us we need to enter the park as the camp is outside the park.

I really liked the proximity to the Masai Mara national park, is actually 5 min away by car. Also Anne the owner was very charm and helpful at all moment, resolving all our questions and needs and giving us very good knowledge about all you have to know for your safari trip. If you are looking for a good safari and adventure and disconnect this is your place. Food was also very good.

John, Jacob and James were amazing hosts. We had a really good 2 day safari with them in Maasai Maara. Jacob was very good in explaining us about various animals we spot. John was an excellent safari guide too. The camp we stayed was also very good. They had good breakfast too. The entire camp stay was great. It had two beds, and was spacious. Shower was good with hot water, We had very good conversations about our cultures as well. The stay is quite close to Sekenani gate, a very ideal location

    Keekorok is in fabulous location.

Keekorok is in fabulous location. Especially for Game Drive just outside of camp you Will see many animals. Exactly outside of your room you can walk around and enjoy with Garden and swimming pool and walking toward the Hippo pool takes 5 minutes. Staff were excellent. Sometimes during the day the power went out. And another things which I have to mention the quality of food can be much better. If you pay for full board Drinks not included even water.

Beautiful ensemble. Central location in Maasai Mara.

Beautiful ensemble. Central location in Maasai Mara. About 1 hour to Mara River. The hotel needs a general renovation and is too expensive for what it is offering. Poor breakfast and coffee and only fair dinner.

Staff and location are exceptional, but you get what you pay for. Rooms need an overhaul and definitely a lick of paint. Food was OK, buffet style, but dining is exceptionally busy and waiting/moving can be a bit of a pain

The game drives with Francis were amazing.

The game drives with Francis were amazing. He could spot game from anywhere. Not a big talker but a 100% guy. He took us out to the airstrip for our departure but wouldn’t leave until we were safely handed over to the Kenya express crew. I think Keekorok charge an excessive fee for transfers just up the road. Food is pretty good. We were told it comes by truck from Nairobi once a week on Thursday overnight so it doesn’t spoil. They do a good job. Visit to the Maasai village was an eye opener. But be warned these guys could teach the Wall Street mob a thing or Two. Would we return ? Yes!

When you book by booking.com, the price you see dsnt include taxes and daily fee entrance to the park( 70 usd per day for foreigner). Also take in consideration that it is a very poor wi fi connection. Except those 2 remarks, this place is excellent, the staff very kindly, the environment so beautiful
