The room itself was spacious, neat and clean with a double bed, air-con, TV and en-suite bathroom. The staff were friendly and helpful. One of them spoke excellent English and in the morning showed me where the colectivos depart from to El Tajin. Everyone I spoke to earlier in the city denied there was a colectivo service to El Tajin, but it`s not true! The "station" is just hidden in an alley behind the Town Hall.
