This was by far the best hotel we stayed in Nepal, and it was like an oasis of tranquility for us. The rooms are fantastic (we had two rooms facing the swimming pool), the beds so comfortable that we couldn't believe it, the food in the restaurant superb, the swimming pool very welcoming, the staff very kind, no noise, good wifi... We were a bit disappointed with the National Park, but just to stay in this hotel for a few nights it was worth the detour.

Def a place to visit while being in Nepal, but I somehow got the feeling that the locality has lost a lot of its soul with increasing commercialization of tourism. I heard that before all the tourist lodges were built, Rhino could regularly be seen in Sauraha itself.
Recommend to visit, maybe for 2-3 nights at best.

July and august are not tourist season in Nepal
That why chitwan park is closed while other side parks are open
Also hotel and restaurant are not well prepared because it’s off season period
Also one single advantage is area is not crowded

A lovely town that has more more to offer than the National Park.
You could easily spent a day or two visiting surroundiings on a bike or even by foot.
Or spent some hours along the river side. or just walk up and down the main road in the village..
Amazing place, wonderful people, great location, hospitality and food in a relaxed environment. They offer packages with everything you need for a stay near the Chitwan Park. Experienced guides, who know everything about the jungle and are very connected with nature. I learned so much in just a couple of days. During our two days in the jungle with Januwa and Bipin we saw so many animals, wonderful birds, rhinos, bears, bison, boars and even a tiger from a close distance. The staff and the jungle will be in my heart forever! Much love
So much to like. The warm smiles from the staff whenever you walk up to reception or see them in the property, the view from pretty much anywhere on the property, the clean rooms, the tasty food, the sounds of the nature around you, the quietness due to not being so close to the main street, the friendly guests who we were able to meet, the stories and useful information from their in-house jungle guide, and so much more. We had a fantastic stay and if we ever come back to Chitwan, we're coming straight to Bamby House!
What an incredible place to stay! The family really make you feel at home and care for you like one of there own. Really comfortable spacious room and hot shower. Tasty cheap food and lovely balcony to watch the beautiful jungle sunset.
The safari organised was a really reasonable price and we saw 8 Rhinos and so.many other animals!
They even gave me a coffee and a free lift to the station when I left. Truly lovely people.
Seriously the best place to stay in Chitwan!
It's first time in Chitwan and we made the right choice to chose this hotel as our home. We really enjoy the river view, jungle, animals along the river. Everything was perfect for us. The hotel staff was very friendly and take care of us and also woke us up in the early morning for spotted the wild animal. We would definitely come again. One more thing, we really happy to see the Rhino for our good memory there.
This is a lovely hotel in a quiet back street of Sauraha . The staff from the manager to the cook are very friendly and helpful.
I stayed in the main block Room 17 on the second floor . Very spacious room with one double bed and one single bed . A very good wet room style bathroom.
The resort also arranged for a morning Jungle trek and a afternoon Chitwan National Park walk . At a very reasonable price
Raj (the owner) is a very sweet man who is available to help with anything. He helped us arrange the safaris (jeep, walk and canoeing) and arranged a pickup at the bus stop in Sauraha. The guide (Binot) was also very good, he knew everything about Chitwan, from the rhinos to the birds. Overall we loved our experience here and would recommend it to everyone.
The location is great, right on the river. Sunset is amazing. The waiter in the restaurant (not sure how to spell his name) is the best part of the hotel. He knew I liked spicy so he made sure the chef made it that way. He knew what I liked to drink after the first evening. The room is functional but basic. There is air conditioning and a fan.
The BEST BUDGET Hotel that you will get in Chitwan. Cleanliness, Hygiene, Service and Attention to Details in rooms are top notch.
Just book it without any 2nd thought, if you are lucky you can see wild animals such as rhino or deer near the hotel. We saw both deer and rhino.
And you will be able to meet two angels - Bunte and Jenny.
A very cozy family hotel, to which we have come many times. We always stay here with friends because like the place itself and the owner, who are friendly and welcoming. The hotel is cozy, clean and tidy, you can order food and drinks as well as many tours in Chitwan National Park and its surroundings.
Best resort in Sauraha full with greeneries and peaceful environment. staff were very cooperative and helpful, makes feel like home . They manage all sorts of jungle safari in Chitwan National Park . Food was delicious, rooms were clean. Had great experience in the resort . Highly recommended 🙂🙂
Excellent break fast, only 5 minutes to get in river and main street, very friendly staff and help us booked jungle activities with good price, you feel like you are in home.Thank you for your good hospitality. Definitely we will recommend who come to visit chitwan. You love to stay here.
Terrific, new (2001) lodging option for visitors to Chitwan National Park, with nice, well-appointed rooms, complete range of well-run safari and other programs and super-friendly and professional staff. Riverfront is around 10-15 minutes’ walk from the property.
We had a nice time at Hotel Chitwan Park village. They arrange all jungle safari activities. We did full day jeep safari we are so luck saw a lots of Rhino,2sloth bear, one tiger and many birds. All staff are helpful and friendly.Thank you all.
Quiet, charming, small hotel located in the Chitwan wildlife preserve lands away from the business center. Friendly, accommodating staff. Can arrange tours at the hotel. Meals are prepared to order.
Amazing staff, so friendly and helpful. I stayed in room D10 and was the best shower I've had in Nepal in 3 weeks.
