The location was very central to all the attractions, Graskop Gorge, God's window, lisbon falls, Berlin falls. Bourkes luck potholes, Blyde river canyon, 3 Rondawels. We visited Pilgrims Rest on our way out of Graskop. Harry's pancakes was lovely. We took walks at night, that's how safe it is in Graskop. Charl and his gentle dogs are lovely hosts. The house is comfortable, we especially liked the bright living area, so one must not be afraid of rainy hours. It is an easy walk to Lisbon Falls or over the hill to Berlin Falls. Altogether a stay in nature, you hardly find anywhere else. Electicity is on Solar, water and cooking on gas - so no loadshedding!

The chalet and furnitures were nice and confortable. the owner was very friendly and happy to show us his farm and sheep.

We did the famous "Jock of the Bushveld Trail" by simply starting the walk directly from the house. Blyde River Canyon is just 30min by car from here, the Berlin and Lisbon Falls are much closer, so is God's Window, Pinnacle Rock and Wonder View. Check in to The View was fairly straight forward. When we arrived, the owner was here to hand over the keys to us and to explain all details.MichailGermany
