Best to have a guide if you are unfamiliar with this mountain. Trails aren’t always clearly marked, weather can change quite rapidly and there are blister bushes that is nice to have some one in the know point out.

Go there as ealy as 6.30 to save time on queues! We lined up on the street for about an hour and a half! The people selling drinking water are so expensive i felt like i was being charged for champagne! haha. Our car got robbed when we returned from hiking Table...
Our car got robbed when we returned from hiking Table Mountain so make sure you park it somewhere extremely secure. The hike took us 3 hours up then 3 hours down. Make sure you take lots of water and snacks as lots of people fainted/fell over coming down. BTW the cable car was not in use hence why we hiked up and down.AdamUnited Kingdom - 10Scored 10

I have travelled all the way around the world and have to say Its the best city in the world Table Mountain- Lions Head - Devils Peak and Signal Hill surround the city and looks down over the VA Harbor and city of cape town its breath taking. Beaches are clean and white sands So many places to visit Wineries/ Beaches/ Cultural Museums/ Markets Stalls with fantastic paintings hand made African mementos VA Harbor is a great place to go free entertainment African dancers and singing groups which allow you to be part of the entertainment Once again you could spend all day there and return the next day and not see everything Make sure you book a ferry across to Robbin Island incrediable history

It depends what you're looking for in your photo. To get the best view, go right up to Table Mountain or Rhodes Memorial. Drive along the coast line and stop at Camps Bay for a relaxing view and birds all around. In town you can get interesting scenes from everyday life. Cape Town is truly rich in providing great photography scenes.
