Built in the 1870s, The Corinda Collection offers self-contained cottages and hotel style rooms. Set in lovely gardens, the property offers a 24-hour front desk and free parking.

Laundry facilities and a full kitchen with a microwave and refrigerator are standard in all cottages.

Julian and Chaxi have managed to restore and renovate this beautiful house in the most tasteful and comfortable manner imaginable. They have even maintained the upstairs/downstairs contrast - the rooms in the house being high ceilinged and luxurious with fine art and ancestral portraits, while our “Servants Quarters” was more quaint and filled with quirky objects, but with a level of comfort the servants could never have known! Breakfast is excellent and the hosts and staff beautiful, welcoming and generous. You will also find your happy place in the garden!

What an amazing place to stay! The Gatekeepers Lodge certainly lived up to the expectation of being a historic Hobart experience. The place was decorated beautifully and everything was so well thought out - Dan and Ari have truly gone above and beyond! They even had books and puzzles! The location was 10/10 as well; very close to everywhere we wanted to go and the view from the bedrooms above were also stunning (specially in the mornings). Communication with Dan was so easy and prompt; made our stay all the more accommodating!

On the hottest recorded march day we slept like babies thanks to the exceptionally good air-conditioning which was a massive plus for us. The rest of the room was fine and exactly what we'd expected from a triple room in a travel lodge. Small but comfortable with a serviceable bathroom. The onsite carpark was very convenient though tight. We went in early during the day to secure a spot as we knew in advance that they are only available on a first come first served basis.

Was travelling with a friend who insisted thatTravelodge was the gold standard for hotel/ motel Australian stay- as per the 1990s advertising on TV. Location was alright- we had a car and plenty of free street parking outside of business hours. Only stayed one night- bed and linen very comfortable- so much so that I forgot to get up to search for the Australis borealis. Spartan appearance outside of the rooms.

Fusilier is pure luxury. The house feels like a beautiful ski lodge - the vertical timber slat walls and the mud-coloured ceiling make the space feel warm and cosy. The living room doors allow you ultimate flexibility to curate the feel of your living space and offer privacy on busy weekend mornings when there are a lot of coffee visitors across the road at Jackman & McRoss. The location is absolutely perfect also. Would highly recommend staying here.
