Simply an amazing experience. Sue and Patrick are fantastic hosts. On arrival we were greeted with a cockatoo saying hello! Then we got to spend some time around their very friendly birds. They even took us out on a night walk to see some musky rat kangaroos. Simply a great all round experience. Definitely worth staying the night in Kuranda just for this.

    Very nice place to stay. In the evening you can see a lot of mammals on the road in front of the lodge. At day time you can see a lot of birds and also the Musky Rat kangoroo. They also have a very nice kakadu as a pet.

    Sue and Patrick are fantastic hosts. I was travelling to Cairns the next day from further west and the Lodge was the perfect stop. I really enjoyed having the breakfast tray so I could cook my breakfast when ready the next morning. The surrounds are quiet and very peaceful.

    The hosts, Sue and Patrick were wonderful and we were introduced to Fritz, the sulphur crested cockatoo. Quite a character. The lodge was spotless, very comfortable and surrounded by the beautiful, pristine rainforest. Highly recommended.
