The property is located next to a natural reserve, so natives like wallabies, bandicoots, kookaburras and curlews are quite frequent visitors. A firepit next to the cabin deserves a special mention, it is that element which undeniably creates a comfort place to gather together, sit, relax, have a conversation or keep silent while stargazing the Milky Way... or just roast marshmallows.

Noah Creek Eco Huts is a small family business that offer exclusive eco-friendly lodges and glamping accommodation in the heart of the Noah Creek Rainforest Reserve, the largest private World Heritage rainforest in the Daintree Cape Tribulation area. Great immersion into rainforest nature, while still keeping up a good level of comfort. Loved the subtle thrill from being exposed to wilderness, starting from having to use my torch at night when trekking back to my hut from the kitchen, to hearing all the sounds and to eventually also spotting Cassowaries or snakes in real. Loved the community evenings in the kitchen hut where basically everyone gathered for cooking, wifi and games. Same for the medium-level hiking path starting right from Noah Range. Andy and the onsite team are very caring and helpful in setting up for a fun time.

Situated across 60 acres, each of the Montville Ocean View Cottages boast a balcony offering stunning ocean and hinterland views. Guests can enjoy rainforest walks onsite and play on the full-size tennis court. The self-contained cottages feature private BBQ facilities. The breakfast was excellent and can be easily cooked on the Weber BBQ on the deck. It was an idyllic spot and very peaceful with great views. The rainforest walk was challenging but excellent to have this as a private walk. The facilities are excellent and extremely comfortable. The privacy and quiet is only interrupted by the breeze and visiting Kookaburras.

Whispering Valley Retreat is 15 minutes' drive from Maleny's town centre and Settlers Rise Vineyard & Winery. It is 20 minutes' drive from Montville and 40 minutes' from Mapleton Falls National Park. Very quiet and peaceful. Log fire was awesome

Treetops Seaview is 200 metres from Montville village. It is a 30-minute drive from both the Kenilworth Cheese Factory and Nambour Golf Club. Brisbane is a 1-hour drive away. Loved the cabin. Loved the view. Loved the hamper and stocked refrigerator. Loved the unlimited firewood. Was just a great visit and we wished that we were staying longer.
