The room was lovely and incredibly comfortable, every little detail was thought of, and it’s only a short walk to the town centre - and an easy day trip to Hobart or Mt Field National Park. Make sure to stay in for breakfast, it was a highlight! Michael was a wonderful host, highly highly recommend staying here if you’re in or around New Norfolk.

It was spotlessly clean, comfortable, had a well appointed meals and lounge area and the hosts were marvellous. The cooked breakfasts were excellent with home preserved fruits and jams as well. A great place to stay in historic New Norfolk.

Michael greeted us and showed us to our rooms and gave us all the local information we needed. Lovely sitting areas for guests and a beautiful garden to wander through. there are fruit trees, vegetables and chooks! Exceptional breakfast with many options and real espresso coffee! Included some produce from garden, including their own preserved fruits. I would highly recommend Explorers Lodge

It is well equipped with everything you will need for a comfortable stay. It's a 30 minute easy walk to Agrarian Kitchen and a 30 minute drive to the Mount Field visitors centre (another half hour up to Lake Dobson). Really enjoyed ourselves. We stayed in the self-contained apartment and it had everything you might need including a washing machine.JennaYoung couple
