The Property looked better than the photos. Very clean & tidy. Felt cosy & comfortable. Perfect location with a picturesque view of the snowy mountains from the balcony. Fireworks was a surprise which was clear view from the balcony.

As is typical of ski lodges, be sure to pack a pair of socks or shoes to be worn indoors. Outdoor shoes are not permitted inside the lodge, to keep the rugged mountain elements where they belong. Shoe storage and drying rooms are available at the lodge entrances.

The location and communication was outstanding, along with the communal facilities including the outstanding catering. We were spoilt with the meals and the fusion of flavours created by the chef. I would definitely stay here again; it was very welcoming and homely.

We visited this "ski" lodge in summer. The entire area is a "V" with the one side the road and parking for this stay, the bottom is the ski lift / commercial district, and the right side the top of the mountain. Easy to get your bags to the lodge. Many steps down to town and if you climb the moutain the walk back up the steps is strenuous. The host is wonderful and cooks a tasty, filling breakfast. We enjoyed the other couples in sharing stories from around the world.

Everything on hand from restaurants to shopping to activities. The decor was very much like a country ski lodge which suited environment and made seem cosy place to be.

The chalet was nicely positioned amongst trees and other lodges. It was quiet. The kitchen was very well stocked with cooking items and all the crockery was attractive in design and not worn. The interesting windows and lovely heating stove and dryer cupboard. Having a bath was a bonus.

Property was clean and comfortable, breakfast was nice. Cute common area. We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the lodges efforts to make it a nice stay despite having to come in Spring with no snow at a considerable premium.

Greatly stocked continental breakfast, location was great. The shared facilities were well looked after. Lodge was built in late 60’s so it has a very cosy, wooden, ski lodge charm to it. Beds were extra comfy, definitely needed after a long day of skiing and snowboarding during. The caretakers, Sandy and Matt were very friendly and helpful during our stay.

The quaint old style ski lodge ambience. Friendly staff - in fact one of them (Wendy) was a professional skier and gave us lots of info about the town and events that happen. The kitchen facilities were great and the bathrooms were clean
