We LOVED Tunnel Mountain Resort! The entire staff was SO friendly! It is a short downhill walk into town, uphill walk returning to the resort. We were each given a free town shuttle ticket to/from town for our entire stay if we chose not to walk. The location was perfect, surrounded by trees and the beautiful Banff mountains. We used the steam room and sauna every evening. The kitchen had everything we needed to store our groceries and cook our meals. Free wood was available for the fireplace. We sat on the patio every morning drinking our coffee and watching the birds. Bed was so comfortable too! Tunnel Mountain Resort will be our home away from home when we visit the area again... we will definitely return!

There is some parking spots as well but spots might run out if more guests bring their own cars. The hostel is a bit farther from downtown Banff from the other inns but still walkable.
