Patricia, our host, made this property the best! She was always responsive to my emails and questions, picked us up from the airport and toured us around town to help us locate key sights, and went the extra mile to meet our every need - she even opened her home for me to access the internet for a business meeting. She checked in each day and offered suggestions for whatever we needed or wanted to do. The location is the other great attribute - we were walking distance from just about everything, other than some of the distant ruins. Great restaurants and sights, including the perfect sunset location are 5 to 10 minutes walking distance. The room was clean and so comfortable. A great kitchen with the supplies we needed for coffee, tea and simple meals. Loved the upstairs loft bedroom and balcony for morning coffee. Truly a special place and highly recommend it - would stay there again in a minute!

it’s in a garden near the airport ( but only 3-4 flights a week) and a 15-20 minute walk downtown the folks that run it are sweethearts they have rental cars so you don’t even have to leave the property for that…. and their jeeps are as cheap or cheaper than the places in town….

The location is stunning! We had beautiful views of the ocean, sunset, and Moai from our cabana. It was an easy walk into town. Miti picked us up from the airport, was our tour guide, and helped us arrange our itinerary. From the moment we met her, it felt like we had a close personal friend on the island!!

The breakfast was good for us that eat meat not so good for a couple of our party that were vegetarians. There were a couple hiccups but were remedied quickly. Ran out of gas for hot water and power went out which was our fault for running the A/C and hot water kettle at the same time. Once we knew then no more problems. Restaurants, shops, supermarkets and cafes are only a minute away by foot. Pathy, the hostess, was awesome. She was a big help for information about Rapa Nui. Free transport to and from the airport, which is 3 minutes away by car. You can walk to the waterfront in about 8 minutes. Breakfast was varied and abundant. All the staff were so warm and friendly offering restaurant advice and recommended an excellent tour group to make our stay memorable. We even rented their car for the day to see the rest of the island on our own which made it so con. Definitely a well-outfitted lodge to make our stay seamless.

We were collected from the airport, and when we arrived the check-in process was really easy. Suggestions were made about car hire and the tours available. The room was well appointed, and the breakfast was amazing! The 15 minutes' walk along the coast into the town was superb. Such a beautiful backdrop to a great few days!

It's a little bit outside the main drag, but we preferred that. Super close to the museum and Tahai is in your backyard. A short 10 min walk across Tahai and into the heart of town.
